Missouri National Guard's Counterdrug Task Force SFC Rob Aldrich We provide free substance abuse resistance education to schools in Missouri. We will be implementing this into our substance abuse education classes. We like to conclude this education with our portable team training education course. New Covenant Academy Using a Christian perspective, these 30-minute lesson plans were used to encourage elementary school students to talk about emotions and caring for others. (Can be modified for a secular school setting.)

Springfield Family YMCA The YMCA is conducting a character lesson related to the Word of the Month for all of their programs, which reaches 40 schools in Springfield, Republic, Strafford and Sparta. They also post and give to families a list of action steps, or helpful hints, related to the character words to help families and kids implement these traits into their daily routines.
